September Students of the Month

Congratulations to High School Student of the Month Bradley Rodgers and Middle School Student of the Month Meleah Fesler. Both students were nominated by staff based on the Highland character traits (respectful, responsible, and caring). Each student received a $10 bill courtesy of People’s Bank & Trust in Riverside and a free casino buffet certificate courtesy of Riverside Casino and Golf Resort. When asked about the honor, Bradley mentioned that, “Even though I am involved in lots of activities, showing leadership is still very important to me. Having such great peers and teachers allows me to excel and be successful here." Meleah commented that, “I was excited. I appreciate my teachers for helping me and my friends for encouraging me when I need it.” Congratulations Bradley and Meleah!
